1. In Feb this year, Myanmar president Win Myint arrived on a two-day tour of Bodh Gaya, the holy town where Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment more than two millennia ago.
Accompanied by wife Cho Cho and a 28-member delegation of top Myanmarese officials.
The Myanmarese first couple later offered prayers at the Maha Bodhi temple, a UNESCO world heritage site, which also has within its premises the “Bodhi tree” under which Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.

2. NMCH, Patna, hospital has been declared as a central unit by the state government in Bihar for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

3. All the members of the state’s Legislative Council and Assembly shall be allowed to recommend a sum of Rs 50 lakh each or more to contain the COVID-19 outbreak in the state.
The measure will boost the Chief Ministers Relief Fund with contributions from 243 MLAs and 75 MLCs.
Also all MLAs and MLCs can recommend a sum of Rs three crore each every year for development projects in their areas under the Mukhyamantri Kshetriya Vikas Yojana.
The Mukhyamantri Kshetriya Vikas Yojana came into being about a decade ago after the earlier MLAs’ local development scheme was scrapped following allegations of irregularities in their utilization by the respective legislators.

4. Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government had announced a Rs 100 crore from the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the migrants stranded in other states.

5. The Bihar government has decided to provide quality medical care for free to those found infected with the coronavirus and extend an ex-gratia payment of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of those who die from COVID-19.
Funds for these purposes will be provided from the Chief Ministers Medical Assistance Fund.

6. All five candidates for as many Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar were declared elected unopposed as no other nominations were filed.

7. Bihar’s daughter, Bina Devi famous as Mushroom Mahila was awarded the Nari Shakti Award. She is one of the seven females to handle PM Narendra Modi’s social media accounts.
Once started by growing mushrooms under her bed, she has now empowered over 3000 women. Fabled as Mushroom Mahila, she has been into organic farming for a span of 5 years. She has been relentless in her efforts to endow women through mushroom farming.
Her efforts were nationally recognized when she was awarded the Nari Shakti Award by honorable President, Ramnath Kovind.
Bina Devi, a 43-year-old lady comes from a small settlement named Tilkari in Munger, Bihar.
